| Description | According to Egypt Minister of Electricity & Energy, Dr. Eng. Hassan Younis, an L.E. 75 million project to build two transformers stations & a 66 KV overhead power transmission line in New Valley Governorate has been enrolled on the 2004/ 2005 plan. The stations would be built in Mout City & Balat City and the line would extend from Abu Tartour to Balat to enable link the scheme with the unified grid. Finance will be raised by both the Ministry & the Governorate on a 50/ 50 basis. |
