| Description | Egypt Minister of Tourism, Mr. Ahmed El Maghrabi, has expressed utmost optimistic statements on Egypt tourism future potential while visiting 5 tourist projects in the Red Sea Governorate, to add 2,300 hotel rooms under L.E. 1.3 billion investments. Local media has quoted Mr. Al Maghrabi expressing his hope to reach a 15 million tourists level during the next few, repeat few, years. He indicated that curing tourism & health clubs are deemed two new tourist products added to the country tourism menu particularly attracting rich tourists from all over the world. On his side, Red Sea Governor, Mr. Saad Abu Reida, accompanying the Minister, has announced that his governorate now hosts up to L.E. 11 billion investments indicating that the next three years would witness the inauguration of additional 30,000 hotel rooms, now under construction. He further revealed that 1.6 million tourists have visited the Governorate over the first 11 months of 2004. |
