SEMAF - Egyptian General Company for Railways Equipment, earlier reporting to the Metallic Industries Holding Co. (now part of AOI - Arab Organization for Industrialization), capitalized at L.E. 50 million, fully paid up, has posted for FY 2003/2004 some L.E. 88.5 million net profits before taxes on L.E. 234.6 million net sales. Figures compare with L.E. 50.5 million profits posted for FY 2002/2003 on L.E. 178 million net sales. Liquidity as at 6/30/2004 was put at L.E. 183.6 million down from L.E. 225.2 million a year ago.
