| Description | While addressing an economic international forum on Petroleum Technology held recently in Cairo under sponsorship of world giant Schlumberger, Egypt Minister of Petroleum, Eng. Sameh Fahmy, announced Egypt has succeeded to increase its confirmed natural gas reserves to 66 trillion cubic feet. Figure is almost double its level in 1999. Meanwhile Eng. Fahmy announced a new offshore gas find hit by giant Shell Group at 800 meters deep in the Mediterranean water, 200-Km away from shore. |
