Ibrahim Mannaa, was quoted in the media revealing that final contracts for the extension of Cairo & Sharm Al Sheikh airports worth L.E. 2.5 billion + are to be soon signed. Both jobs are backed by a $ 335 million soft loan raised by the World Bank (said to have endorsed the awards). Winner of the Cairo Airport contract (third terminal), for completion in 30 months, is a Turkish Egyptian Consortium involving TAF Co. and Egypt Holding Co. for Roads & Bridges. Winner of Sharm Al Sheikh Airport extension contract, for completion in 18 months, is the Saudi Bin Laden Group. |
