Several contracts signed by Matrouh Governorate with investors & businessmen for tourist development of the North West Coast. That included the construction of two 5 star hotels one on Al Obayyed Beach & the other on Cleopatra Beach. The first, to occupy 36,000 M2 land, will have a capacity of 250 rooms while the second, to occupy 15,000 M2, will have a capacity of 200 rooms. Egypt has earlier announced that it is targeting to attract 12 million tourists in ten years time. |
