Request for prequalification applications of contractors for a series of civil works contracts under this project. The works will comprise: (a) Improvements to branch canals including construction of new regulators & other structures canal remodeling & ban protection, (b) improvements to tertiary canals (meskas) including earthworks, construction of concrete lined channels or burie PVC pipelines, also construction of intakes & pumphouses for small pumping sets. Bidders need be classified by the Contractors Federation not less than class 5. Contractors will be classified under one of three categories: (A) Contractors for works less than L.E. 18 million for classes 1,2 & 3. (B) Contractors for works less than L.E. 12 million for class 4 and (C) Contractors for works less than L.E. 6 million for class 5. |
