According to Dr. Mohamed Awad Tag Al Din, Egypt Minister of Health & Population, works are proceeding with a comprehensive rehabilitation scheme for hospitals & clinics of H.I.O. – Health Insurance Org. Scheme involves 41 hospitals, 538 comprehensive clinics, 1,429 clinics at work locations, more than 7,000 schools clinics, also more than 25 artificial kidney centers. N.B. H.I.O. could represent a potential client for active I.T. companies to help computerize its inventories, identify idle & defected medical & surgical instruments, support the relocation of resources between those hospitals & clinics (medicines, medical consumables or equipment), also support badly needed preventive maintenance schemes of standard hospital installations such as elevators, power generators, boilers, incinerators, air conditioners, laundry units & kitchen installations, not to overview medical waste disposal. |
