L.E. 200 million budget funds have been allocated to the Ministry of State for Management Development, to the Cabinet IDSC and to the National Authority for Remote Sensing to back different ICT projects as part of their 2005/ 2006 plan. Of the said figure L.E. 114 million funds were allocated to the Ministry of State for Management Development to support almost 27 IT and E Government projects at different public agencies. Further L.E. 57 million funds were allocated to the National Authority for Remote Sensing to back 2 projects including an L.E. 45 million projects identified as the Egyptian Space Program. The remaining L.E. 29 million funds were allocated to the Cabinet IDSC – Information and Decision Support Center. |
