Egyptian Businessmen Organisations are now promoting a wide variety of investment opportunities in Southern Sudan among its members. Head of the Egyptian party at the Joint Egyptian Sudanese Business Council, Mr. Abdel Fattah Al Beheiri, said several joint investment projects are considered in infrastructure involving roads, energy and communication works. Also considered are projects to produce electric & household appliances, food, equipment for the oil & gas industry, also pharmaceuticals. (Months earlier Al Sewedy Group has completed an industrial project in Al Khartoum to produce cables and towers to carry overhead power transmission lines under $ 50 million investments). |
