Asswan Governor has allocated 7.5 feddans land in Al Sebaiya area, to the north east of Asswan, for a project to involve with the concentration & purification of raw phosphate, also production of phosphoric acid therefrom, deemed major inputs for the production of industrial detergents & compounded fertilizers. Estimated project costs are put at $ 325 million and it is backed by a group of Indian investors in joint venture with state owned El Nasr Mining Co. Project would have an annual design capacity of 660,000 tons & would generate more than 500 employment opportunities. |
