| Description | Request of prequalification applications from international manufacturers of instrumentation & control systems [ I & C ], also of burner equipment regarding phase 2 of a project involving environmental measures & efficiency improvement for Shoubra El Kheima power plant under funding from KfW of Germany. Job is released in two parts. Part A is for the design, manufacturing & implementation of the required upgrade of the plant I & C, while Part B is the same but for the burners & improvement of emissions at the same. The qualified bidders for I & C [ Part A ] should select one or two of the short listed bidders for Part B & submit an offer for both parts as main contractor or consortium leader. Invitations to bid are expected late May 2005. Tendering will be conducted through procedures as specified in the Prequalification Document [ PQD ] & KfW Guidelines for Procurement in financial cooperation with developing countries. PQD will be delivered to bidders against a payment receipt of nonrefundable fee of Euro 1,000 for each part from Misr International Bank, Alfy Branch, A/C 5354365. Ref. 42/ 2004/ 2005. |
