| Description | Sidpec – Sidi Kreir Petrochemicals Co. SAE has announced brief performance indicators for the year 2004 showing almost 155 % growth in profits and 64.2 % growth in sales. The company said it has posted for the year some L.E. 734.4 million net profits on L.E. 1,665 million net sales. Figures compare with L.E. 288.1 million profits posted for the year 2003 on L.E. 1,015 million net sales. Worth indicating is that Egypt Minister of Investment, Dr. Mahmoud Mohie El Din, was quoted earlier in the media announcing that 25 % of Sidpec shares will be offered for sale on the Cairo Stock Exchange. Nominated deal promoters include NBE – National Bank of Egypt and Citibank - Egypt Branch. |
