| Description | A Kuwaiti investor is evaluating a reasonably sized project to build an elevated transport system (telifrique) to link both sides of the Nile in Asswan to ease tourist traffic between them. That was announced by Gen. Samir Yousef, Asswan Governor, indicating that hotel occupancy rate in the city reaches at present almost 100 %. He revealed that their now exist 30 (stationary) hotels of 24,000 rooms capacity apart from 270 cruisers & floating hotels operating between Luxor & Asswan. He further revealed that other two new hotels are now under construction & they will add further 1,000 rooms to the City hotels capacity. |
